While exploring the local area, we found the Chocoholic Factory in Clements, CA. We enjoyed a interesting and information tour of the factory where they have created such items as chocolate body frosting, chocolatopoly game, chocolate checkers, chocolate body tattoos, and good old-fashioned chocolate candy. The factory certainly smelled good. It was not highly mechanized and we got to watch the workers dipping candies and packaging them for sale.
Diane will have to tell you the story behind the "Star" pin, but you are liable to see it in future pictures while it travels with us.
We met our travel mentors, Dave and Barb Schwartz, in Elk Grove today and were able to catch up on family doings as well as getting more travel tips. We are looking forward to spending more time with them when they venture south in February.

Hey guys,
If you are coming all the way south, beware of high winds.
We have been having very high winds for the past week with gusts up to 70 miles per hour.
If you do get this far south, give us a call.
The Ya Ya's miss you at bowling. So glad you are having a great time. Hope you find more sun. Definitely drab, wet and rainy here. Work even is better than staying home!!!
Enjoy your time away.
